I have been looking for a new inexpensive sound card. I like the Aardvark Pro Q10 quality (for the price) but I have a feeling they are out of business. Also because this card only works in 32 bit PCI slots I would like to go to a firewire card but I am not ready to take the plunge for the RME solution. The PreSonus FirePod card looks like it will do what I need. Like the Pro Q10, it has 8 mic/line inputs but not sure if it is possible to sync multiple cards in a system.
Questions
1. Has any one used the PreSonus FirePod?
2. If so how did you like it? (I am sure it is not in the same class as the RME solution)
