Just want to you tell that me, sac and saw has been recording and editing the music for a opera film.
The recording started 14 days ago at the opera house in Copenhagen
where singers from around the world was flyed in for recording and rehearsels, so it has been a very tied sheldule. this recording was a little
special (in the classical world) in that all singers had to sing in another room, I ran SAC at 1/64 samples to be sure no latency would
cause problems, I had a mix for the singer and a mix for the conductor.
while monitoring in surround in the control room.

SAC has been a dream to work with, it was so easy to fine tune the headphone mix for the different singers and I could stay in the sweet spot
all day.

SAW was linked to SAC and SAW did the recording, after each session we
edited the work of the day.

The setup was 3 x RME micstacys place in the orhestral recording room and a rme adi8qs in the control room, I had 4 mic pre connected to the adi8. this was the connected the SAC computer via madi.
For main microphone I used a couple of Pearl ELM-A in Blumline, this mic has individual outputs for front and back capsels. for AC I used 2 Nuemann
M149 and a lot of DPA42022 and 4011 for spot, the singers used U87´s.

Before I turned off SAW I notice that we had 25864 regions and the edl was more than 8 mb in size.

All in all SAC and SAW has again prove how well Bob has design these programs:D.

Thanks

Sebastian
