Saving mixer views- what am I missing?

I finally jumped in and purchased SAC. Love it!
Here's my question:
How do I save mixer views and screen size/layouts? I know about the shift-f keys. It seems that when I set up the screen and f key views just the way I want them, and then save the session, It is all lost when I recall the session? I am individually saving the f key views with the shift button as well. The audio prefs are still intact though.
What am I missing?

Either save the Fkeys to default or to a file name (it's in the menu under [file]).

The F-Key sets are saved separately as F-Key files... this way you can create many different sets for different operators or different session types.

Use the F-Key File Save Default option to save the starting set you want each time the system starts.
