Oh. Sorry. Like a transcription device; a voice recorder that will output text, either directly or via software on a computer. I can see that I chose a lousy way to name it. It's not recognizing a voice, it's recognizing spoken words and turning them into text. Although, I believe the algorithms are "smart" and learn a particular voice's idiosyncrasies with time.
Thanks for pointing out my vagueness. Seriously. :o
Now, experts... please report in. :)

Dave, that sounds like speech to text software. Google might have this available soon and I'm sure something like it already exists... check with Darpa or NSA. :rolleyes:

I've heard of this one but never used it... the video makes it look pretty impressive.
