but they'v been shooting at 2000 with all their press

Sounds like fun.
I once did a gig in Tacoma WA where it was the worlds largest Louie Louie band. Play along with the Kingsmen. What a hoot this was. It was a long time ago but I remember that we must of had about 50 guitar players up there.
Sadly there was a snafu with world records and we did not qualify.

Please take lots of pictures I am curious to see this.

I heard bout this on the radio yesterday - and the thought crossed my mind.

10 bucks and a 5 hr drive gets me claim to contributing to a Guiness book of World Record (my 9 yr daughter would love that) and helps a worthy cause... Doesnt sound like a bad thing to do on a Sunday...

pending the official krap
luckenbach holds the record now

it was an interesting day

i still cant believe i didn loose anything to the heat

i was scared to fire up the mother board probe
and actually check temps...

the ada8000's were too hot
to want to hold the back of your finger up against them

for about 2 hours i was waiting
for something to shut down or catch fire

instead i'm a hero
and have my biggest single day check

We did 60 bands in one day at the Congress theater in Chicago once.. I thought that was nuts, but I think you've outdone that :)
