I've been working with a client on a new song that is to be included in a "greatest hits" compilation. The provisional working title of the song is "Samba Beats", although it now seems the name may change to "SamBop". It is being deliberately designed to cross various genres, and I am told the release will go to many countries.

I find myself thinking that something with "Samba" in the title ought to at least have that sort of "groove" to it, in percussion if nothing else. Today I was thinking that I wish I was qualified to tell whether it "fit" at all as a samba... and then I remembered you, who are certainly qualified as someone who knows samba. Can you refer me to a couple of good "typical" online examples where I can hear the authentic rhythms clearly defined? I would really appreciate it.
