The 24 key definitely looks cool.

Playing with it for the last week. I've assigned the buttons on the side of the mouse to Fkeys. It's remarkably functional for how I work.
Re: programmable keyboard

Re: programmable keyboard
905,
What are some of the applications you use with the keys?
And does the macro programing over ride the keyboard?
Re: programmable keyboard
it runs along side the keyboard.. no overrides unless you assign them
Re: programmable keyboard
Man...you guys sure are serious about your keyboards! Thanx for all the cool links!
Re: programmable keyboard
Don't rule out the Logitech G-series keyboards for under $100 with 12 programmable "G-Keys" on the left side. It also is illuminated which works great for dark events. I use it for our projection software personally, but I could probably get some benefit out of it in a SAC Remote as well.
Re: programmable keyboard
I use a G 15 and love it as was said lighted keys and the programable keys are VERY easy and quick to set up

You could save space by utilizing a smaller keyboard.
Here is a link to a site Google spit out. Does 12 or 24 keys sound good?
The relegendable keyboards have clear key covers that you can put labels under.

Been using the Genovation CommandPatch keyboard for the past year. Works great. Just wish more functions were accessible in SAC by keyboard.
Mostly, I use the keypad for selecting monitors and F-key settings. Basically, all the keys I normally use during a show (so I can stow the keyboard out of the way).
