Re: Freeware and donateware plugins
Just for a single point of correction to all the above:
The 5D does have a single tap button (user assignable) that can control any device that is set for tap tempo.
The DM2000 and DM1000 have full sequencing engines built in that can do realtime changes of any parameters and can lock to either MIDI time code or SMPTE.
So yes, it has all been done before. I've not used it much in live shows (although had one running show where it really helped syncing things to a backing track). I can see being able to lock to external sources valuable to some people but not the majority.

Bob, this might be just the ticket to getting certain VSTs like StutterEdit and Vocalizer to run within SAC. :)
Thanks and regards,

Re: Freeware and donateware plugins
Thanks for all these leads on good plugins.
I am looking for a good chorus or choral effect.
Does anyone know of where I might find one?
Re: Freeware and donateware plugins
I just use the kjaerhus classic one.

I'm sure I don't understand how the tempo is handled in a DAW, but DAW's are able to communicate a user adjustable value that plugins are able to use for timing of delays and other effects. In Reaper you can even tap out that tempo. It may not be 1:1 translation into realtime, but I'd expect some translation could be made so that a tap button at the top of the SAC interface could set a tempo that plugins could use.
Yep, this is how my live performance synth vst host (Brainspawn Forte) works.

And all the plug-ins you've listed in the last day or two, you've tested these in SAC?
