It's certainly possible that that one time it was not user error.

You would re-open to the same place as last time you opened that EDL. But the sure-you-don't-wanna-save? prompt should preclude such shenanigans.
Are you intimatin' that you're not being paid big bucks for knowing how to code scripts? So what's my incentive to learn it? ;)
I was referring to my own limited world of simpleton macro creation,...
I bet your one time of trying it (the undo) you goofed, somehow. I bet if you try it right now, it will work fine. Cuz that's how it works. ;)
It was an issue when the...
Woah. Or is it yikes?
Above my pay grade, I'm afraid. But it sure sounds good to my lay ears. :D
I love Resolve. Especially the price. :D
I hate Fairlight. ;) I'm sure it's not as powerful or utilitous (new word?) as SAW+plugins; but, in fairness, if I knew it better, it might be okay for...
My memory/sense is that SS video functionality, generally, works well in a fairly narrow set of workflows. My habit has always been to capture elsewhere, convert to a format that SAW likes, then go...
All I can think of is setting the release to max. It could give useful results depending on how long the gaps are in your source audio.
You could also use a macro program to automate a process...
Doing wild analog transfer to SAW would be a pretty fine fallback option, no? I bet the sync would be good for long stretches, requiring only occasional manual correction in post.
Well, I suppose we can all agree that I'm getting my money's worth! ;)
You may be the one guy who understood my post. :D
I guess I wasn't clear. The plugin installs and works fine. It's just the interface that's wonky in SAW. Not sure what to do about that.
Actually, you don't need the iLok software; you can license it in your cloud account.
Are you still on XP, Dell? Or have you moved over to the dark side (Mac)?
But why are you telling me all...
Sorry, not understanding your response, Micro.

Ideas?
Sorry. Not meant as hate or anything negative. I just was curious why room tone wasn't working for you. I guess I missed some stuff.
Room tone, anyone?
FYI, while setting up my new NAS today, after starting a backup operation (PC to NAS), Windows threw this up on the screen:

Thoughts?
Just a guess: bass notes are low. Are you sure the notes aren't there, but just below the visible portion of the track's view? After copy/pasting to the new MWS track. Be sure the track is the...
Or check the last page of the help file to be sure you're in the clear and go for it.
ALTHOUGH it appears that that list may not be complete. I see that G is missing as a way to toggle Grid Mode. ...
Or... just try some key combos and see if they cause trouble. :D How about ctrl-W and shift-W? Or H and shift-H? Or...
BTW, you're invoking one of my pet peeves: using the word infer when what...
Bravo!
There ya go. There's got to be a keystroke manager for this kind of thing, yeah? I'm not savvy to such things.
This is just dawning on me. And I don't have time to start Googling my way to an understanding. Experts, please chime in if you have the time.
If frequencies toward the top end are getting so few...
This is where your and Bob's visions go their separate ways, I guess. Is it killing you to do a "pre-click"?
