Re: SAW PRO Oldies but Goodies

Thanks Ian, good point. The headphone amp was causing the offset. I ended up just recording offline and importing via SD card. A little bit more cumbersome, but solved the off set problem.

    SAW PRO Oldies but Goodies

I'm having an issue with DC offset while bringing in some audio into SAWSTUDIO through a Zoom H4n headphone output, using it as a quicky mic/preamp for some ADR.
Its inducing a pretty nasty DC...

Re: Out of the Frying "PAN"

Ok, it's all good. SAW was acting perfect - of course, and I have awarded myself the "Idiot of the Day" award. It was complicated, but embarrassing.

Re: Out of the Frying "PAN"

Thanks guys, I always forget just how many ways in SAW there are to fix things. I'll double check to see if I did something funky by mistake. I did do some automated reverse phase on a boom track...

Re: Out of the Frying "PAN"

Yes, Michael, agreed about the sound card issue. I know its not the wiring of the monitors, I've checked that out extensively and the clincher is the rendered files showing up "backwards". ...

  14. EXPANDING SAW WORK SURFACE IN NEW INSTALL ON 24" MONITOR

  15. Re: Preferences not saving on new install etc

    UPDATE:
Using River Past Video Cleaner 7.8 I selected "use source time code" instead of selecting a target TC of 23.98 and 12 hours later I got a locked and synced picture.
So, Mp4 of 23.98 to AVI...
