Audacity should be able to do it to...great program....free!
I used Audacity's(Tempo Change) for 'Time Stretching/Shrinking', for two projects...1) to insert a poetry reading into a podcast that had a finite time limit...and 2) to fit some music to a slide...
Dell...I'm talking about VSTi's(SoftSynth)...normally you would patch a general VST post fader, to help control the overall level of the track.
What I was refering to is the SAW FX patch...
Your right, VSTi's have to be patched pre fader so the input faders won't work, SAW output fader will control the overall output level, so here's a hint:...use the input assign buttons on your VSTi's...
Dell... glad to hear you got the issue resolved....went to the site to learn more...ready to buy, and got a message...'Online Store is Closed'... hope not forever!
Hypersonic 2....a VST plugin. It may be a VST version issue...VST2(VST2..V2.XXX)...owing to the fact that it works in Reaper and not fully in SAW. I assume it's VST2 plugin and not VST3. Are you...
Dave...you know I am a cynic when it comes to Windows 10, for real time processing(...too many background processes, too blotted...etc). Since you get crashes in SAW32 and 64bit, it seems unlikely...
Hey Mirco...I thought this survey was to indicate what version of Microsoft OS you're using not what version of SawStudio you're using?
XP worked well...but now... 2 netbooks, Win7-32bit 1 laptop Win7 Pro-64bit 2 Desktop towers, Win7 Pro-64bit...one with duel boot Win10(which I use only when I absolutely have to)
"clunky" usually refers some sort of disruption in the workflow that your not use to...eg...messy...convoluted...overkill...hard to deal with...etc. But the word is highly subjective, what is clunky...
Bob....is there still an upgrade path from SawStudioLight to Sawstudio full...32 or 64 bit?. I don't see it on the site anymore. I'm quite satisfied with SSLight, but it's tempting to get the best of...
I use Blue Cat plugins is SawStudio with no problem, but on each machine they have to be installed first. You can't just take the VST's from one computer and move them to another, or they won't work.
On your C: drive there will be two folders...'Program Files' and 'Program Files(x86)'. Waves will put a folder called 'VSTPlugins' in each of them.... if you are using the 32bit version of SSL, use...
Dell wrote.."Do not load it with all kinds of games and other office type applications... do not use it to surf the web and process emails and other home computer type tasks."
This part of the...
Thanks Bob for the explanation...if I understand the upgrade it greatly improves the priority levels of Windows?
Bob wrote... "Finally... after a few years of searching and trying all kinds of code changes to match the performance and stability achieved in XP within Win 7, 8 and 10... I stumbled across some...
Great!!!....thanks allot for the downloads guys.
Danny
Dell, can you provide the 32bit versions of these shades?
Waves is having a super sale today and tomorrow all plugins $29.00...speaking of reverbs, I purchased the 'Abbey Road Chambers' and 'Abbey Road Plates', and a couple of more Abbey Road...
In windows 7, if your looking for 32bit WaveShells.dll, look in c:\programs(x86)\VSTPlugIns.....for 64bit WaveShells.dll, look in c:\programs\VSTPlugIns. There you will find all the WaveShells that...
Congratulations! Dell...could never understand why you never attempted a recording before, after understanding SAC so well. SAW Studio I'm sure has the easiest workflow of any DAW out there.
I don't use 'Source Connect', but unless you already have Pro Tools, you might want try a cheaper alternative, such as REAPER or Cakewalk Sonar(which is under new management and is a free download)...
....is your controller plugged in to a midi in or a midi out port...
Cary...I'm a bit of a midi idiot...but here is my 'shot in the dark'....check you midi controller(keyboard?) make sure its working(off/on switch?) Forget about your EDL or Midi Workshop. First turn...
You might want to download Audacity(a free program)...https://www.audacityteam.org/...and import the data as RAW..then export as a .wav file. I've been able to recover lost and fragmented audio files...
