Are these for the 32bit or 64bit version of SAW? Thanks.
Glad to help.
I rarely use that command. I almost always use library view to add files.
Be sure not to overwrite the 32bit EDL files, as the 64bit converted versions are not backward compatible. I started a brand new folder area for all my 64bit sessions to keep them separate from the...
Just went and fixed a dozen affected EDLs. I mostly work on SMPTE view, but it seems all recent music projects have been affected, I am not sure how far back.
And there it is. Thanks Bob! I would have sworn I had checked that as JML suggested, but apparently not. I must have replied after looking at the restored mix template. Duh.
Thanks for that. At least I now know that it*s probably not related to my system*s monitor or system settings.
It has shown up during sessions with client present kind of randomly. I would like to find the root cause (if identifiable) so I can prevent the crashes. The blend session is a great way to restore...
Here is a very small SAW64 session that exhibits the crash on my system:
...
I do use zoom with my trackball. Source of zoom doesn*t matter-trackball, keypad, + & - keys all cause a crash.
One track test session still fails.
Blend session does work, so there is a workaround.
I am curious to find the source of the issue, however.
Tick=240. Have tried others
Grid-settings= 1/16th note. Have tried others
They are the same in old & new sessions
Not quite out of the woods. While new sessions don*t exhibit the bug, old ones do. I need to do more digging.
I have resolved the issue with a fresh SAWStudio64 install and saving a new default Mix template from there.
Hope to never run into this strange corruption again.
No tempo map. SAW64.
No link to either MWS or SAC.
It happens with any single wave in any new session.
Thanks!
It happens with grid mode on or off.
No plugins.
Yes, multitrack view with tempo mode on. Doesn*t happen in other viewing modes.
I am having an issue in SawStudio (on Win11) that is very strange. When in tempo view, SAW is crashing when zooming all the way in on a region, but only on certain tempo settings. For instance, 240,...
I also just tried this with the same error messages.
I did not know this, thanks for the heads up.
I have a macro on my x-keys that seeks the start of the region my cursor is on (including the leading softedge if there is one) and marks B, then seeks the end of the region ( again with trailing...
Brusfri from Klevgrand is pretty great for this kind of work.

One great thing about the onboard EQ is that you can automate it.
This is great news!
UAD plugins now also come as VST3s that don***8217;t require their DSP chips any more.
Metaplugin is what I have used for a while. I use the side chaining all the time. My biggest gripe is that you can*t see what is on each track in an older session without opening every Metaplugin...
