You can now control ToalMix from an Ipad, Mac or pc. It works with all RME devices that support TotalMix so your good to go with your HDSP card. It's downloadable from the RME forum and there's a...
Due to 'dumbing down' our band sound system, I have a SAC 4 license for sale. Want $175 for it.
edit: Still for sale 6-28-2018
According to this test: http://whirlwindusa.com/support/tech-articles/opening-pandoras-box/
Latencies less than approximately 10 ms to 15 ms are not perceived as echoes with in-ear monitors.
...
It's possible apparently: https://youtu.be/KQvXFo5mNN8 (warning, it's sentiment make you want to puke your guts out :p ) You can still list up as beta tester. Just wonder what the latency will be as...
I've read that Musicgroup thread and someone says 10 ms. Don't know if that's true or exactly how that compares to my 1x32 buffer Sac-rig but I guess is that it's too slow and only good for...
Thanks for the heads up. They're actually quite good
Thanks guys for your answers! I'll stick with Windows XP as it can't get much better than my XP system is performing right now. If I want to use a touchscreen, I'll do that on a Windows 10 remote...
I have 3 questions and they're underlined
Is every Windows 10 tablet capable of running the sac remote? I'm looking for a simple tablet for the band members to set their monitor levels. Tablets...
I use this card in my backup system and that has to run Windows XP. Doesn't matter though as my main system is also running XP. Never have problems with XP.
edit: Oh dug up an old thread...
Wow! Talk about a substitute.

The mixer is html5 based so any modern device with wifi can be used with it. You can demo on...
Thanks Donnie, this info is great. Been trying to record band practise for some time without restarting sac everytime after saw playback.
Very nice and pro looking!
Looks just like a huge ipad if you ask me but it makes an awesome control surface.
Why not something simple like this:

The guitarplayer can control it and it sounds pretty...
My M57 had a C2D e4600 cpu and I already changed that for a e8500 and it runs fine. The Lenovo cpu cooler isn't as good as a stock Intel cooler (for example) due to it's small size but it stays...
Used Motu gear is not widely available and a RME hdsp 9652 can be bought for €200 used or even less.
I just bought a Lenovo from the link WurstWerner shared. the E4600 cpu is only lacking 5%...
I might pick one up. If the cpu is too slow I can always buy a faster 775 socket cpu like the e8500. I want to built a 16 channel i/o system so 1 pci slot might be enough if I only use the main card...
What's the name of that Lenovo exactly? Seems Itsco doesn't have them in stock anymore, at least I can't find it. Thanks for the pic and yes, that was my idea too; to fix the second 9652 card outside...
So it has a full size slot! Too bad it doesn't have a pci-e slot for graphics. I should've thought about that, because you probably would've installed a graphics card. Where did you and AntonZ get...
Why don't you put in a low profile graphics card? It would take some of the load of your cpu as your having (minor) problems with crashes when switching views. They can be found new for about €25...
