    Re: reverb settings

What buffer size do you use for your
    soundcard...It should say 44.1khz/64samples
if you use inear and maybe 44.1/128 with wedges.

About reverb, I think you should chance to a more live friendly...

    192khz rec. length wish

    Hi Bob,
I will like to ask if its possible to have

    Re: My new control surface

    Cool,
  12. Re: Playback startup time... what can I do about it?

What about doing a fress saw install into a New test folder and see if that helps.

Btw. I also use unvail and it does introduce
    latency.
  13. Re: Playback startup time... what can I do about it?

In your new post you write you are using
convolution plugins, some of these plugs want to fill up there buffer before playing.
  14. Re: Playback startup time... what can I do about it?

I want you to trim the session just to make
sure the folder is not completly fragmented.

Another thing, try use the build in mb soundcard...it could be something with your audio driver...I...
  15. Re: Playback startup time... what can I do about it?

Copy the saw and project folder to another computer and test the latency There.

You could also do a trim save to a New folder and check latency from the new folder.
  16. Re: Playback startup time... what can I do about it?

Try disable the undo function and if that help.

    Re: Sidechaining

    About side chaining in saw,
    its easy.
At the top of the dyn. section you see a key
window, its default is "self" open it and you will
see the chn list. So if you want a BD on track one
    to duck...

If the room sounds good and the choir has a good balance by
