Thanks for taking the initiative, Steve!

    Richard,

If it's ad supported, isn't that the reason for the need to be connected to the interwebs?

    Re: PreSonus StudioLive Series III

That's the way I've done it in the past but Presonus Series III doesn't offer the option as did the RME card in the SMTPE drop down list.
I downloaded a wave timecode file and put it on a track. ...

  8. Re: Is anyone using Source Connect with SAWStudio?

Thank you all for the valuable suggestions!
  9. Re: Is anyone using Source Connect with SAWStudio?

Thanks Scott! I'm going to have to install ProTools since SAW studio doesn't use re-wire. Did you use ProTools on a Laptop or another Desktop?
  10. Re: Is anyone using Source Connect with SAWStudio?

OK, yesterday I downloaded Source Connect and, even with the help of the SC guy, wasn't able to record in SAW, nor Sound Forge for that matter. He suggested I download Reaper and he'd be able to get...

    Re: Odd sample rate

    Thank you Dell.
I asked abut that and it had something to do with the clock on the pump and at this point, it's to late to change the circuitry.
But at it's inception ... WHY???? Oh well.

    Re: Odd sample rate

    Thanks Philip,

I also just stumbled upon a "custom" choice in SAW Studio at the bottom of the drop-down choices.
I typed in 21.875 and voila!

    Amazing program, that SAW!

    Odd sample rate

I've been working with a medical pump company on the different sounds their machine will make. The last set of files I sent were wav at 22.050/16 bit. Now they're asking for 21.875 KHz! I don't...

Thanks for the info. I've been using Waves Loudness Meter, WLM Plus, and have had good results with that one.

Wow, Ian. That sounds bizarre, I've not seen anything like it.

    Re: Independence Day

Works for me! In San Diego, reclaimed coastal desert, we can't get away with backyard fireworks. We do have a number of wonderful displays though, especially along the waterfront!

    Re: Wav to uLaw conversion

    Tom,

I sent wave files to the client. No push back so, as you know, no news is good news.
They said they'd do the conversion to uLaw.

Re: Need newe work flow to make CDs

    Ed,

I don't create CD's from within SAW. Generally I create wav files and burn with CD Architect from Sony. I wish I could be more help.
