I just needed the vocal separated from the music and it did a pretty good job.
We recreated the track that was recorded back in the 70s and I dropped the old vocal in the new track.
I liked the...
For all my clean up work - hum, hiss, buzz, click, pop, guitar noises, amplifier & pedal noises and a bunch more I use RX7 by Izotope.
It might be up to version 8 or 9 by now but it works both in...
There's a service on the internet that uses AI to seperate tracks.
I just used it and the results were pretty good.
Maybe it will work for you.
The website is "LALAL.ai"
I paid $15 for 90 minutes...
A very belated Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
Actually I'm using a program called Jbridge and I'm using all my 32 bit plugins on my 64 bit Windows 10 machine.
Make sure you get the Windows 10 64 bit version of Jbridge.
This program works with...
Oh My God I just built a new studio machine last year and was forced to use Windows 10.
It took months to sort out minor glitches and to get Windows 10 to stop stepping on my sessions while doing...
Blue Cat Patch Work works for me pretty good. I use the latest Abbey Road Plugins from Waves and they work fine in Saw 64.
I was kind of forced to switch over to Windows 10 just like I had to switch from XP to Windows 7 years ago.
The best running OS ever was XP with Windows 7 right behind it.
The problem I have with...
Glenn is just another human being with an opinion.
So am I and I totally disagree with his assessment of Reaper vs. Saw.
To me Reaper is a toy compared to SAW Studio.
Arguing about DAWs is a waste...
Thanks Bob for your great tech support tracking down and fixing the crashing of Saw 64 bit while switching layers.
I've been using Saw 64 for a month now and it's running smooth on Windows 10 (so...
Yes! I agree. Bob has made a great contribution to us who have used his software for many years.
By the way folks I have a correction. It wasn't IK Media that discontinued software it was Native Instruments.
Sorry for the error but my point remains the same.
Something funny crossed my mind today. I've spent the past three weeks building a new Windows 10 64 Bit machine to run all the latest and greatest crap.
Well along the way I found out that half my...
Don't know about X 42 but Blue Cat Patch Work runs VST 3 plugins just fine in SawStudio including the Waves plugins in shells.
For me I just put the files that are in layers on other empty tracks and name them. With 120 tracks I never run out. That way I can add automation, effects, etc. and the track it there in full view.
I haven't tried Melodyne 5 yet but I'd like to report that Waves VST 3 plugins are working in SAWStudio 64 using Blue Cat Patch Work plugin. The one thing that will throw you off is the plugin needs...
Great news. I've been using a really old version of Melodyne for years and now I will finally upgrade.
Great news for future builds.
I'm on Windows 7 right now and all has been good so I'm excited to find out if I get better performance.
I do have SAW on both a Windows 8 and Windows 10 machine and...
Thanks 335 - I'll give it a test drive.
Over the past 25 years there have been many guys with great knowledge on this forum who were here and happy to give us good information - Bill Park was one of them.
I've learned a lot over the years...
I was doing a live sound job back in late 1993 - early 1994 when I got my first introduction to what has now become SAW Classic. It was two channel and the producer of the act that was performing was...
Just thought I step in and make a comment. SawStudio works perfectly on a Mac with a Bootcamp partition. I used it on a Mac over the holidays to record a Christmas program. Bootcamp and Windows 7. I...
I use Melodyne to tweak harmony vocals so the need to do it within SAW STUDIO is very important so I can hear how the tuning tweaks are working with the rest of the music bed.
I don't generally use...
I received an email from Celemony saying "Since 2007, you have had an old Melodyne plugin 1.x registered with us that you have never updated. That version of Melodyne is very out of date and not even...
