Re: CRASH Report: "SAC.EXE has stopped working"

Yeah, not convinced that's my issue, though. We're pretty minimal on plugins and have been using the same ones in the same way for a few years now.
I'm leaning more towards the bad MIDI data as...

Re: CRASH Report: "SAC.EXE has stopped working"

Sorry, Carl, I meant the latest update to version 3, I didn't upgrade to 4.

No new vst plugins since quite awhile, primarily SAC delay, levelizer and verb plus some of the Classic series chorus...

CRASH Report: "SAC.EXE has stopped working"

    Hey folks,
So, SAC crashed a few minutes into the Sunday service yesterday after running for over 30 minutes.
No user action, just a random "SAC.EXE has stopped working".
I think this is the first...

Re: Tio 1608-D Dante Setup Help Needed

When you're putting together a Dante setup, before you settle for a cheap Best Buy or Monoprice network switch you need to know if you'll be using unicast or multicast (multicast also requires IGMP...

Re: Acoustic Trio traveling system Q?

I suppose that could be true, however, a Ricoh PCIe chipset would not be the same thing as a Ricoh Firewire chipset. Ricoh is a company, not a model number, and they make a plethora of chipsets...

Re: Acoustic Trio traveling system Q?

    Matt,
Did you have the FW400 or FW800 version?
I'm thinking of just going with the faster FW800 with an adapter cable for future capabilities, which I've used with hard drives and such.
    Just not...

Re: Acoustic Trio traveling system Q?

The ExpressCards themselves can have Texas Instruments, Ricoh, VIA, etc chipsets, depending on the ExpressCard configuration (Firewire, USB, RS232, Ethernet, etc). However, regardless of the type of...

Re: Acoustic Trio traveling system Q?

Correct, but I'm not asking about onboard Firewire chips...I'm talking about using TI-chip-equipped Firewire ExpressCards (TI=Texas Instruments).
(Note: Ricoh's, and VIA's for that matter, are...

    Acoustic Trio traveling system Q?

    Hey folks,
My wife and I have a small acoustic cover trio with our daughter, basically 3 vox, acoustic guitar via Digitech Stereo Looper and percussion/cajone mic.
    I'm currently using a small...

    Re: Behringer Xtouch fader packs?

Thanks, Bob. I'll be curious to see if they would end up being daisy-chain-able like the BCF2000 and Motormix, or limited to one pack like the Mackie.

    Re: Behringer Xtouch fader packs?

So Bob, maybe you can answer...will the new Berhinger Xtouch work with pre-4.0 SAC, and if so, what are the limitations? I.e. would the scribble strips work with it?

    Thanks,
    Jeff

    Behringer Xtouch fader packs?

    Anyone using them with SAC?
If so, are they limited to 1 pack like most surface templates or are they daisy chainable like the BCF and Motormixes? (Pre-4.0 SAC).

My Motormixes are going belly up...

    Re: Channel Mono setting oddity

Ok, fine. How about at least an OPTION to send it to both channels then?
Dead simple is a relative term when you're talking about stuff done by volunteers and moms and dads ;)

That's what I'll be checking this weekend.

If you mean the polarity switch on the channel, then no, it wasn't. Although it didn't make a difference switching it either, which I would think would reverse the effects of a physical polarity...
