Maybe you could clear up something then? at the bottom of the save file as drop menu is save as *.wav *.aif *.aiff if I use that setting and type in file name...

I’ve had this happen every time I deal with aif or aiff files
They open fine I do what ever needs to be done and
save them to new aif or aiff file
They play fine in saw and in other software on...

The problem was since I used the same mix template the files in both folders have identical names (kick.wav, snare.wav and so on) so when I go to open edl and repath to folder I used shift OK saw...
