  1. Re: Use Saw Studio as a Way to Determine Resonance in a Guitar Pickup

A thought....use an E-bow to "oscillate" the string (not strings) to generate a constant signal. Personally I think
the frequency range is too great ( low E to high E) to try to "tune" a pickup. ...

Re: Anyone using a Focusrite 18i20 with SAC

Got rid of the Focusrite. Good riddance, a lot of wasted time. Got another UMC1820. Set up and running in 3 minutes. Ran for 4 hours at 2X64 and no dropped buffers.

Re: Anyone using a Focusrite 18i20 with SAC

With further testing it works fine in SAC64. A little flaky but 0 buffers dropped at 2x64. SAC32 is another story. Stripped and generic
setup still no go. I have 2 UMC1820's coming so I'll go...

Anyone using a Focusrite 18i20 with SAC

Is anyone using a Focusrite 18i20 with SAC or SAWStudio? I bought one of these and can't get it to work without glitching. Wasted 8 -10
hours with different configurations and still no go. ...

    Re: No Link with updates

Everything is working great now, 2X64 stable, even about 2-3% lower cpu usage, so I'm going to leave it for now. After the gig I may try going back to

OK I figured this one out!! Both programs have to have the compatibilty set to XP SP2. Once this is done then all is fine.

    Re: No Link with updates

I know that 32 and 64 bit aren't "compatible" That's not the problem, I didn't update the 64 bit versions, just the 32 bit. Rebooted, reloaded, redid the preferences,
    Even loaded them both 4.6...

    No Link with updates

Ok I'm in panic mode. Updated to 5.8 and 4.6. Did the 64 bit also. Before with 5.7 and 4.5 I could link SAC and SS. Now when I go to activate SAC
link it is greyed out and there is no "import"...

Same here. Spent hours going back and forth on different "solutions" Nothing. Funny that all the outputs work in FOH main but not on any of the Monitor outputs.

cause the lock up consistently. I use...

Re: SAC (and Plugins) 64 Bit Version Bug Reports

SAC (32bit) now crashes when scrolling the...
