    Re: Video track issue

OK, here's what I did to make it work ... WHEW!

I converted the MP4 to AVI with VLZ.
The SAW video player wouldn't recognize it.

Out of desperation, I pulled that AVI into Pavtube and...

    The error message says:

    "Trouble opening video file
    It possibly no longer exists".

This is just after creating it.

    Thanks guys.
I'll make sure I'm using the Xvid codec and if I can't get that to work, I'll look into Xilisoft.

    Re: AA Translator error

The export was done with a bunch of files referenced a bunch of MXF's that didn't exist. That's the part I actually understood.
There were some other issues that only a coder might get.

    Re: AA Translator error

Michael at AAT pulled it off AGAIN!
Within hours, he was able to make it work.

Similar to SAW, AAT is a great program and the customer service is amazing!

    Hey gang,

I have a few AAF files that I'm supposed to mix and I've always used AAT to import those sessions into SAW.

Thanks Michael. I haven't played with Pro Tools for quite a number of years so I'm going to have to pass.
ATT's monopoly on ISDN lines is terrible!

    ADR with Source Connect pro

In the past, I've used ISDN for ADR however the cost of ISDN has become prohibitive.

I made the jump to Source Connect Pro. How is ADR different than with ISDN?
    Previously, I'd send time code...
