    I had it from 3 years but only for talk radio.

    HD radio sound is just as bad.

    I just use a I-touch anymore for car music with a aux input on the radio.

    yes, I have one of these cam. Canon HV-10 and for what ever reason I must export it to a QT file and then it plays nice.

    I know it's just a wrapper but that makes it work so there you have it.

    IF you have a mac available with final cut express ( it has direct support for AVCHD) you could convert it to QT using H264 and that will work and keep the 16/9 and 1080i.
