HELP!
I have taken the Audiorails out of the system and started putting everything back together and and my snaps are back. I am seeing them on the input meter mostly on channel 10 and some on 13....
I had thought of that also and gave it a try tonight. I had to do a smaller set up due to not having enough coax cables to hook up all of the Profires, but the results are the same - snap crackle...
Thanks Jeff. I am considering going that route. I emailed them to make sure that it will work for me. I don't want to go through all of that hassle and money just to find out that it has the same...
I think I have found the problem. According to Audiorail any unit that uses the jetpll clock is incompatible with Audiorails and the Profire 2626 uses the jetpll clock.
So now I have to decide...
Ok so here is where I am now. After running all night maxed out I had no slipped buffers running at 80% load. So I got the amp rack in warmed up and hooked up, all the profires set, and a speaker...
I will agree with that. I just did my first one tonight and it went very well.
So far all is going well. I only have one of the Profires hooked up for now. Doing a stress test with 2 channels...
I don't think so. If it had happened the first day and not the other two than maybe. I am leaning to it being with the RME9652 and the Profire 2626 not getting along.
John
The highest load was 40% and after stripping it down I think it was around 10%. I hope the Motu drivers are easier to install than the old RME ones.
I had set the clock to adat A, but was not...
I started out with 5 profires (4 of them going through audiorails) and ended up with 3 of them through the audiorails. I had switched them around and tried different cables. This was late winter...
Hi,
I am having trouble with my profire having loud snaps on the outputs. I am using a RME 9656 for the computer interface and master clock through adat. Everything shows locked with no slipped...
I have had good luck with two condenser mics. I would concentrate a little more on the lower note bells (the big ones). the smaller ones tend to Carrie well and can be on the piercing side. the big...
For what it is worth I do not like mine. If you want to change a setting you have to hook up firewire to a computer if you can get it to work. Don't forget no hot plugging so you have to shut the...
Hi Bob,
Just a single core 2.1. The slipped buffers are only showing on the out. I am thinking of dumping the PreSonus and putting the money towards a rack mount PC. John M
Thanks Bob. I was hoping to try and use what I had available for now while I get the funds together to do it correctly. I will be going with the RME cards and a dedicated desktop computer in the...
Thanks for the help so far. I had seen the ASIO4all, but did not realize what it was. The ASIO4all did fix the ASIO driver reset problem. Now it is at least usable, but with slipped buffers(4x64...
Has any one been able to get a PreSonus FireStudio LightPipe to work with SAC? I am trying to get a small demo/starter system together and have not been able to get it to work. I keep getting an ASIO...
