I just tried creating .ini copies and giving different names, for example:
Metaplugin.ini
Metaplugin02.ini
Metaplugin03.ini

which does work and could maybe be a workaround going forward...

Metaplugin seems to solve my issue with Acon Restoration Suite 2 plugins hanging...so far

now, if I could get parameter automation of the plugs, that would be an even bigger...
