Bob,

Great! Thanks guys, I am going to give it a shot tonight.
Thanks guys, I do want the over exaggerated sound of the drums (think some old beatles/ zepplin) I think they have used this effect. Sludgy, plaudy
...
Basically if I had a tape machine I would...
I would like input on the best way to achieve the drum sound technique that is pitched down and slowed down drums, but at the proper tempo.
Should I figure out the vari speed % and speed it up...
The only way I have been able to remember it is, (forgive me if I am wrong, I am not at my Saw station)
Mark a "B" and "E" point, then make a new region out of it. (good Idea to rename the region)...
The Mackies are great, sure the low end is big for such a small monitor.
I needed that low end before I added another set of monitors with a sub...still use the Mackies just as much as my other...
I too would also find this very valuable.
Me, Four and Five.
Great, I will give that a shot.
Thanks
The same thing happens to me with the SAW Reverb at work (I too write them down)
Bob,
I have been wanting to post this for a long long time now but have been too busy.
I just wanted to thank you for making recording such a joy again.
I have been using SAW for over a year now....
Thanx guys,
I am getting around fine in SAW but I couldn't wrap my head around how to do this.
Me and the manual sometimes don't get along very well.
Thanks again guys
Hi all,
Many times I find myself wanting to copy and paste a chorus that has mutliple punch ins to the next chorus.
Can this be done without a buildmix?
Right now it I can only get it to copy...
Great thread guys!
I get what your saying, of course I would not need the Auxes if I did a build mix first.
Cool, Thanx.
Great that is what I was looking for.
1 more question, you mentioned "Make sure the Audio Monitoring option is set to NONE," are you talking about the OUT Assign, and not assigning it? or Maybe on...
That would mean I loose an Aux for Mixing though correct?
I don't think I would want that.
Hi all,
I typically do a Psuedo Master (for clients that to hear a approx. vision of what Mastering there tracks will do).
Now I use a TC Finalizer for that, via the SPDIF output on my Fireface...
To me Phil Collins always sounded like he had a harmonizer ever so slightly mixed in with his vocals.
Lofi- I was just thinking about changing it... I recorded the designers cousin in exchange for that header.
Dave- No S**t, I was so glad that I could get back to editing this stuff that I didn't...
Your right,
I started to do some Build Mixes to post a link, just to find out that it was not happening in SAW at all!
I checked my monitoring chain and the only thing out of the ordinary was my TC...
Yup.
Hi Bob thanks for the help,
I double checked the Soft edge display and it is on.
I started a new EDL and imported a track and it did the same thing,
though if I cut out a chunk in the middle of...
It does it on all tracks in this session?
Weird
Actually it does it in every session I have...never did before?
It has to be a setting I hit via hotkey unknowingly somewhere.
No gates or plugin's.
I have the GTR's quad tracked for this part and they all do it if I edit to the beginning of the waveform.
If I splice earlier or not at all then everything is fine but...
