    Re: Multi-Stereo Wireless IEMs

    A couple final thoughts...

Depending what kind of gigs your band plays, don't rule out hardwired IEMs. Dealing with wireless and all the inherent potential for problems and show-stopping RF...

    Re: Multi-Stereo Wireless IEMs

Dave, there are so many other factors that will determine your choices, you can pretty much ignore those specs.

Think single RF carrier FM stereo transmission with all it's inherent limitations...
  3. Re: Feed SS master out to more than one device pair?

Do you have the option of using a mixer onboard your audio device (such as Totalmix, LynxMixer or something similar) to do the routing?

If not, and you still want to keep it in software, then...

  5. Re: 32 bit plug-in replacements for move to SS 64

Check out the BX_meter from Brainworx. It's very similar. I have to mention the Plugin Alliance plugins overall are trouble-free, stable and have straightforward licensing options.

    I have not...
  6. Re: Need Ideas for connecting 24-ch of analog preamps to non-pci interfaces

I was going to suggest similar or else an HDSP(e) 9652 (pci OR pcie) with the Multifaces standalone.
  7. Re: OT - 9 volt Batteries and Musical Devices

Judging from the discharge curves, and depending what your priorities are (saving money, saving the planet, top-notch sound etc), it could still be worth setting yourself up with a NiMH kit. Maybe...

    Re: OT: Maximize/Restore Button

Dell, this is a holdover from an old issue that arose years ago. The fixes applied solved problems for some people and created ones for others. So we never really got to the bottom of it IMO.

    It...

    Re: Test your routing knowledge

Here's another nice plugin in case you've not already discovered it. I think it covers just about all of the panning options one could need.

  11. Re: Saturation/Distortion plugins - any favorites?

You may enjoy this one. https://ddmf.eu/phi-L-Audio-Tube-Preamp/

Softube do saturation very well (and have a free one to try). I use their tape emulator. Soundtoys Decapitator is a popular one.

This plugin may also be useful. It has adjustable pan-law (in the settings). VST format.

Funny this. I was going to stick my nose in to this thread and ask if you received an apology via PM.

    I'm sorry, I need closure. :o

Just hoping to bring some levity here guys. ;)

    Re: Audio for Video Issue

Have you considered time-stretching (maintain pitch) the Tascam audio? It may take a little trial and error to dial it in but should be doable without artifacts at that level of drift...

  23. Re: Insert note or comment on multi-track

One idea is to use cue locations in the Control Track. Stack them when you need to make longer notes.

There are plugins for entering text. These are two I found on a quick search:

    Re: Non-Motherboard NVMe Installation

Dave, you got me wondering about this so I did a search. This is nothing more than one of the first results I hit but it may be of interest. I only read to the point where the OP solved his problem...
  25. Re: SAWStudioFull32 + SSLevelizer + 64bit VST2 plugins (via jBridge) weirdness

Something's not happy with the buffer size changing. I'd suggest 'don't do that' and carry on.
