The Mackie Control units work well with the readout displays and controls for all the mixer parameters.

Works great as long as you are not using SAC for performer monitors... if the stage is being fed by a hardware console and SAC is used for just recording and streaming... Virtual Soundcard is all you...
Not sure where the confusion lies... I can simply press the B key and then further down the timeline press the E key in the MT to create a marked area... if the area is cleared I can then do it again...
You can try using the File/Open Soundfile and Fix Header option in SAWStudio... do this for each of the files involved and then see if that repairs the header information that was not correctly saved...

If it supports Mackie Control emulation, then it could be a good choice... otherwise I recommend just buying a new or used Mackie Control unit... you can use the master module and two extenders,...
There are many solo options in SAC... your solo switches should not normally affect other output chans so you are free to solo anywhere without affecting FOH or monitor outputs if the options are...

If you add plugins to one chan then use the Save Chan to memory cell function... then select multiple chans and use the recall FX from memory cell option it will add the plugins to all selected chans...

I believe the BCF has a Mackie Logic mode... not sure how good it emulates but that might give you access to the various chan sections.

SAW will automatically adjust the samplerate on the fly in the multitrack. You can mix and match rates from one track to another... if you have tracks recorded at 44.1k on the multitrack and other...
The MON solo bus is only available when there is a remote connected... otherwise only the FOH solo bus is active.

You can set the default playback to the motherboard spdif out or speaker out and simply loop a physical cable back around to the RME spdif input or any line in inputs.

Dave... probably not... I suggest using SAC as the console front-end to SAWStudio... it makes for a much nicer overall experience since the SAC console can always be live to keep VST synths active as...
