  1. Default Your Machine Setup?

I'd like pics/prices and performance of what a lot of people are using.

A nice, pic heavy; hardware discussion would be nice

OK guys, getting snarky aren't we?

Monomer, many of us do have our rigs posted in our signature, and recommended hardware is in the FAQ. Most of us try to emulate Bob's Harrah's rig (in some way, shape, or form) even if we try to do it less expensively, as I did.

The days of reading on the forum will do you a lot of good, IMHO. Before I ever posted anything I read every single post on the forum from oldest to most recent, and then skimmed the manual all the way through. Not all of it stuck, but doing so gave me a working familiarity with the product and how to set it up, so when I began to ask questions, they were from a working knowledge.

Spend some time reading, and look for the signatures to get ideas on system setup.

99% of the time, things that aren't being done aren't because they don't work. The other 1% is split evenly between fools and geniuses.
