I'm very interested in how well they perform? If they work well enough as IEM then I could have my whole band switch over to IEM. For the price of what normally just one would cost. I have modified SkullCandy ($10) in ear headphones that have amazing isolation, that I'd be using.

I can say from personal experience that I wouldn't want to use them in a performance situation because no matter how I have them tuned in, they always seem to hiss and sputter from time to time.

If someone was in a location where this did not happen, I would think the sound quality would certainly be good enough. I just haven't found that magic frequency.

I bought mine and use them for solo monitoring. I do however plan to convert them to ear buds to get better isolation as they are not good at all at blocking out the surrounding noise (especially a band). They will certainly be a great solution for that as the price is so much better than a quality in-ear.
