    Default Festival of Lights Pix

    Hi All,
For those who are interested, I just uploaded a couple of pictures of SAC at the City of Riverside's Festival of Lights entertainment stage. Pix include my Sac Rig, Kevin and Leticia (two of my sound people), a picture of the truss and stage, plus some Pix of "Big Papa and the TCB" who played a couple of times that month (if you've never heard of Big Papa, well, they did the theme song for the Papa John's Pizza commercial; if you don't have a Papa John's near you, then this comment is probably meaningless).

FWIW, there's a Papa John's within a stone's throw of my house...<;^) Nice pics, BTW. I recognize the OSP cases. I like their stuff, too. Honestly, if not for them it would've been a lot harder to start my sound company. I got a mic case from them that's bullet-proof. I have a drum mic kit that came with 4 tom mic's and a kick with a case for 100 bucks. I use them all the time. They sound just as good as my e604's (which were purchased at a later date courtesy craigslist), I don't worry nearly as much about them being smashed with a drum stick...<:^0

I've don't remember the commercial, but I will assume the band is great. But the pizza is about the worse I have ever had, only matched by the incompetent and rude service and attitude at the local Papa John pizza delivery joint.

    Hey Randy

Thanks for the pics. I see what you were saying about the truss and framing, WOW great job. It's nice the way you have everything ready to roll out in your rack. I notice that your OSP is 20 spaces mine is 16 and it's still a brute to handle.

Yeah, I never eat the stuff, it's not what I would call good pizza. Of course, at my age I really shouldn't be eating pizza anymore, anyway :-(.

Saw Big Papa's picture at NAMM today. One of the microphone vendors is a sponsor of the band. I remember singing at Open Mics at a local coffee shop with the band's leader five years ago. My how things have opened up for them.
    Cheers,
