Same here. Not that anyone needs to use crossfade in the output channels....
Just tried it on the return and output tracks and it does nothing... as it should...
No crash here.
Give me a step by step and I'll see if I can duplicate the crash.

If you have a marked area it doesn't crash. But if you just have a return channel or output channel as the hot channel and hit X, it crashes.
I tried it here as well and it does not crash for me.
Could your X key be assigned to some sort of hotkey in your video driver or something like that... it will not crash for me either.
Perhaps it is connected to some option that is set in your preferences and not mine.
Try a fresh install in a junk folder and see what happens.
Try clearing your preference file and saving a new one.

I did a fresh install and it's the same thing. Please make sure you don't have a marked area when checking this. Thanks.
I tried it on 3 differents pc with SAWStudio demo 4.9a, is strange.

It does not crash my machine - nothing at all happens when I press X on output or Aux.
