Thread: Remote plugins

    Default Remote plugins

We use saw native's EQ, Delay, Levelizer and FreqAnalyzer on a wired FOH remote.
The plug-ins are installed on the master and on the remote computer, and they work perfectly.
It's not clear to me what happens if we add a second (third, etc) remote without the plugins installed. (We don't need to tweak the plugs from the additional remotes).
Would it be a problem? Would the network load be higher or lower?
Do you suggest to install the plugs even if they are not used?
Should I fire up a network analyzer and see by myself? :-)
    Cheers.

Plugins are loaded on every remote, you never know when you will need to tweak one.

If a remote does not have the plugs, it will be fine... you just will not be able to pop them up and adjust them on that remote.
