Default BCF2000 USB or 5pin midi?

The title says it all. Does anyone have a preference or suggestion? I just ordered one of these and I'm not sure which is the best protocol. I can easily go either way. My interface is a RME multiface or digiface.

I plan to use it to record rough live mixes of live concerts in live mode. Did I say live enough?

I've used both and they both work fine. I use USB now because it's 1 wire. The only downside is once and a while I'll have to update the MIDI IN/OUT in SAC when using USB because they'll get reorganized.

    Craig,

Thanks for the input. I'll be using it with an old Dell C640 that only has one USB1 port that I normally use for the mouse. I don't really want to carry a hub with me too, but a one wire connection would be nice. Guess I'll just have to see what works for me.

    Thanks again,
    Scot
