I was just asking for a link to the note thing because it looks useful, and couldn't find a name for it to search. If you could provide a name or link, it would be appreciated.

    Hello,

Thank you for the updates - and the VST's.

TrackPad, VstNotes and Scribbler all work with Scenes...just make sure the FX Pre is selected - and all is well.

I have attached a couple of other VST Note Pads here.

Will say the kjaerhus classic mastering limiter does not work in sac as it reports latency. Typically any linear phase eq is also latency adding and does not work in sac.

    OK, Finally here it is!!!

There is an easy way to play mp3 directly into your soundcards output simultaniously with SAC engine ON,INTERNALY, on whatever audio card you want.

Use the Virtual Audio Cable 3 free version for this.
    link: http://software.muzychenko.net/freeware/vac312.zip

    Instal and setup 1 cable.
Load up Winamp and select for output: virtualcable1, and then run this little plug AUDIO REPEATER that comes with VAC3. You can define input: virtualcable1 and output: your cards output, and hit start and happily smile

    LoL

    BUT!!!!!!!!!!!
Be careful when playing out of winamp.Make sure to select DIRECT SOUND OUTPUT in prefs, otherwise you'll be askicked by your Boss or even fired

The thing is that some buffer issue happens when other output mode is selected and when you hit stop in WinAMP a Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeky sound just beats your hart out through the PA with MAX volume!!!!

    HAhahahaahaha!!!! Been there

Anyway... I thought that you guys needed to know about some tools that are out there and free, that I use on daily bases and that nobody mentioned here before.

You could also post some opinions on some plugins that you've used or tested while using SAC

Also if a link is not there, don't get me wrong... but,I got a little angel runnin' around here that I have to take care of, so it happens that I miss some thing in the post
Who's being sarcastic? I asked a simple question.

Here's the best Multiband Comressor /Dynamic EQ on the planet from Platnumears IQ4.
http://www.platinumears.com/iq4gui.html (you can find here some more good plugz)

A very UNIQUE plugin and the only one of it's kind.To my taste, zilion times better than C6 and much flexible...and it's Free!

Great tool for making things or certain freqs stand still in the mix and not jump out and mess around with your PA and limiters.
Can work as a DeEsser while you can compres 3 more bands beside you've done deessing.
    Great for,Snare,Kick,Bas,Voc...whatever...
Has a solo and on button on every band and a selectable filter type,Q fator, and the best thing is that when you select PEAK, you are compressing only the signal that your Q factor has determined. So you can compress a peak that even some fancy parametric EQ cannot cut out. It's the same concept as DeEssing but here youare not limited to only above 1khz.

I've been using this plugin for a long time and it always caused crashes so after contacting the developer, he told me to copy as many dll file as many times I will probably insert it in a DAW.So if you would like to use 10 instances, just copy the dll.file into the VST folder and MAKE SURE YOU NAME THEM like IQ4gui1,2,3,4,5....10.dll

    BE AWARE
This plugin can cause a crash if you use only one .dll file in SAC.
So if you copy the dll.file 10 or 20 times into the vst directory and rename them, adding numbers from 1 to 20 at each dll file like IQ4gui1 upto IQ4gui20.dll there will be no chrashes only if you use just one instance of any of those dlls's.If you have loaded IQ4gui1 in Kick you can't use that dll again.

The thing is that the developer made this plug in synthedit, in an odler one and forgot about multyinstnces ,so this is the only workaround.
Am i afraid to use it? NO!! unless I don't stick to these rules.
This way SAC wont carsh and you'll be able to use a FREE Multiband COMP/EQ/DeEsser.
