I dont even necessarily need the .shd file, a screenshot would do me fine.
I'm about to attempt a wood grain shade and I want it to be unique.
I know that David Hayes authored one such shade, but his site no longer exists?

This is the only one I've seen. I believe it's from David Hayes. But I guess there's another one out there, too.
Pulled this from the archives -- from two computers ago!

Thanks a million, Dave.
I've already started mine and it's shaping up to be way woody-er and grainy-er than that one
Is wood making a comeback? I just posted these a few days ago...
Brett: Love the Birdseye maple pattern. That looks good! I've got quite a number of wood jpg's if that's a help. There are used in conjuction with my Cabinet Making/ rendering software. Let me know and I;ll send some your way.

Hi:
I never noticed this before, but the ratio control in the wide mixer view for the compressor is labelled as Flr and calibrated in Db as opposed to being identified as Ratio at :1
See the Z Mixer compressor settings for the difference.
You must have the shade to be able to see that. It's not shown in the screenshot.
I just noticed that the EQ Bandwidth setting is marked with a "Q" instead of bandwidth. Does the EQ function differently in SS then it does in SAC?
Brett
The Eq is the same... the Q was changed later in SAC because certain users complained... I guess it was never altered in the SS shades.
