After a hosting disappointment a few years ago, I went with Cary Cornett's recommendation of 1and1.com. Very happy.

Some days ago I couldn't get at my site or hosting company. After much troubleshooting (as I could get at my site via my phones 3g) I finally got my isp Clear to own up to the problem. It seems the DM status was being disconnected from their tower. It has since been fixed, but good to know as I was able to get most everywhere else I wanted to go. Including here.
