One of those guitarists looks allot like Steve Walsh. Did he do handstands on a keyboard?
What are those red XLR covers at the vocal mics?
Very nice. If I had a stage/lighting/sound rig like yours here in Abq. I would be lucky to get it booked twice a year. Good that you seem to keep it booked at least once a week.
Nice pictures. I assume you took them with an SLI camera???
I see you use one of them "sub-kick" thingies. I'm kind of surprised. Do you really like it? Does it really make a difference?
Also I think I found a syntax error on your SAC page:
"Rack-mount 160x1200 display"
I'm sure you mean 1600 x 1200, correct?
Keep up the good work!

Randy will have the definitive answer, but my guess was that it was an insurance policy for mikes that might sometimes be hand held in the form of red grip tape. Much more professional than gray/silver duct tape. What are those red XLR covers at the vocal mics?
That was my first thought, but they don't seem to actually go up over the mike shaft at all.
Had I gone back to look I may have noticed that. They are also on the overheads and tom mikes that are seldom, if ever, handheld. There does appear to be a loop of mike cable included under a heat shrink sleeve. I have seen some cords, usually spiral wrapped shield, where the wire stretches a bit but the insulation does not and ends up with a short. I'll offer that as a second guess.
