Default VST to DMX plugin? Controlling light from the audio console

Its there, lightning and audio together, so this brings up the question
If there is some kind of VST plugin, that makes it possible to controll
Lights thru SAC, without running another software in the background?!

This is where I get the idea:

Enttec DMXIS does just that. Standalone or VST plugin.

I've used dmxis with cubase for a live act. It uses midinotes to control scenes.

So i dont know how you want to use it in sac?

Now i use Martin lightjockey in the background .it can play audio by itself and program a show on it.
Or with midi notes, it can also sync on miditempo or audio input.

Its also easy home programming without the real fixtures because it has a virtual show designer.

DMXIs and Ableton Live. Very cool. They have a new program called Showbuddy. You add tracks to it, then build lighting scenes over the audio. Looks cool, but demo crashed quite a bit on my Mac
