    Default Bad Noise

Here's something new...Did a build mix for client, and ended up with this noise half way through the song. Opened SAW, and it's now there on playback.
    Can't make it stop!!!

    Profire set to internal sync.
    Windows 7 with all tweaks
    Sawlite
couple of tracks with Studio Verb.....Levelizer on Main Out.

Any one recognize this sound, please let me know!?!?!?!?

Listen HERE....... and turn down your speakers!!

It sounds as if you have used a demo version of a plugin on one or more tracks at that part of the song (else, Voxengo Beeper ).

In any event, Solo, then Shift+Solo (to include Auxes) each track on playback to ID the track(s) containing the Bad Noise.

If *all* tracks contain the noise, then...lóòk around for Rod Serling's ghost, for you have entered the Twilight Zone. Seriously, at that point I'll be just as much in the dark as you. Hopefully it's just one or two tracks...and hopefully you'll ID the røøt cause of the noise.

    Lightbulb Re: Bad Noise

Rich, I just reread your other post...your Bad Noise issue might have something to do with the "leftover" VST plugin...which, on this Win7 machine, might very well be running in demo mode!

Of course, you would have had to somehow enable it at that part of the song...maybe an automation entry somehow made it onto the offending track(s)...dunno....

    But worth checking, IMHO.......

Well, after just staring at the computer screen for a while, zoomed way out, I see this thin, yellow line on the oboe part...going from left to right, slowing creeping lower and lower on the track......
Twilight zone, indeed! I selected all tracks and cleared the "softedges"
    It disappeared.
    Plays back like a champ.

My question....how the HELL did it get there!!!!???? and why would it cause such a mess??
Perhaps during a selection process, I accidentally hit the X key?

    Thanks for your suggestions guys.

LØL! No, Rich, I meant THE TWILIGHT ZONE theme music...sorry for the confusion.

Actually, I liked the track you provided...sounded cøøl & textural.

    Best regards,
