  1. Default holy crap sacman!

Wow, sitting here mixing on a soundcraft si compact 32 with a ipad.

Man do I miss my SAC rig right now. This thing is a total piece of crap. Ipad interface pretty much blows. Talk about latency on the faders.

Put this package at just a few notches above unusable.

It's always nice to have a reference, isn't it?

And no fun during the experience, that's for sure.

We'll unless I'm mixing something simple (as in a non theatre show) I still prefer SAC to anything under about $30K that I have any experience with. I'll take it most days over an M7, and almost always over anything cheaper than the M7. Short of having a dedicated router and DSP unit in the signal chain after one of these units, which of course just makes the console all that more expensive, SAC is still the best in my opinion. Even if there are a lot of little things I've love to see updated or changed.

Just picked up an SI 24 (cheap)
Hope it's just the Ipad that sucks

I had faders moving on their own when I was out with the iPad. I have been told there's lots of rf issues in this building. Could this be it? Also made the mistake of saving to USB during the show which made almost everything inaccessible for 40 or so seconds.

I would have loved the board if it was cheap! Not 9 grand.

Same board locked up on me tonight. Fortunately it was during a break while an iPod was playing. It still passed audio from the 2channels, everything except the LCD went dark. I did take a pic with my phone to send to the installer. Reboot solved it.
