    Default RME - Which one?

building a new rig, mostly sound for picture. I'll need at least 8 out for my surround mix deliveries to discrete stems. Would like to stick with the internal PCI or PCIe option. Which RME product will give me the most bang for the buck, and ease of operation. Most of my imports are from file dumps anyway and most of my ADR is done in a separate recording environment, so latency issues, sound quality and output options are the most critical concerns. HDSP 9632 maybe?

I do my general design work in stereo, surround will come into play for placement of surround elements; so those are two different monitoring scenarios.

Also would like to find a SAW user in the Houston TX area that could function as a hands on consultant to help with tweaking and set ups (I'm not a super literate computer guy)

The 9632 or 9652 or RayDat are all great cards... the 9632 might fit your chan count the best.
