    Default Preload and Cue

    Hello,

Q1: Can someone please tell me what "preload" means.
Q2: Can someone please tell me what a Cue Location is for and what do you do with it?

    Thank you.

When the MultiTrack starts playback, it must first pre-load a few buffers of all the tracks and process these buffers in order to get playback started... this can take a brief second or two on a heavily loaded session with many tracks and lots of plugins or other processing.... you have the option to cue and pre-load the data and then sit there and wait for the go command... this way when you say go... playback always begins immediately.

A CueLocation is used at the start of a song and the Control Track or a midi trigger can jump to this location and begin playback.
