    Thanks again Dell.

Mmm - well - I've played around with this for several hours now and I just can't get Sawstudio to relax. It keeps taking on SAC's 32 buffer setting and I just get garbled audio.
I can finally get MWS sounds coming through SAC but the whole "SAC takes centre stage and SAW relaxes" just isn't working for me.
SAW, MWS and SAC are all the latest updates.
M/C is HP probook 6550b with Win 10 LTSC.

Does anyone have any answers here?
    Thank you
    mako

you shouldn't have to do anything more than setup SAC and then launch SAW Studio and connect use the SAC Link menu. You don't have to set any audio driver settings in SAW Studio. SAC and SAW have to be running the same bit depth and resolution, but there should be a pop up warning to tell you if they aren't.

I've done this on a lot of systems from XP to Win10 without fail.

How are you determining that SAW Studio is taking on SAC's buffer settings?

"How are you determining that SAW Studio is taking on SAC's buffer settings?"

Because SS switches from 512 to 32 - and - because the audio stutters horribly

    Thanks

Can you walk through the steps you are doing to setup up SAC, SAW Studio and SAC link.
