  1. Default Do Vst2 plugins work in Saw? Any workarounds?

    Hi,

I was thinking of picking up the Neve Portico Compressor made by Steinberg that sounds lovely. But when I took a closer look at the specs it says this:

"The Rupert Neve Designs Portico 5043 is available in VST 3, VST 2.4 and AU plug-in format, allowing for multi-instance use with digital audio workstations such as Cubase, Nuendo, WaveLab and Logic."

I know AU and VST3 are out the door but what is VST 2.4? Is that any different than the regular vst format for Saw?

Also, are there any workarounds, wrappers, hosts to make a VST 2.4/3 plugin work within Saw? Thanks in advance.

The 2.4 should work fine... but you should see if there is a demo of it to test, just to be sure.
