    Default Unexpected Recording Behaviour

I discovered if I record using SAW-SAC, I don't get pre-everything recording tap if the pre-FX signal flow for that channel in SAC has been set to be pre-EQ.

I confirmed with a plugin that has a meter, that the Pre-FX is not affected by the SAC software input attenuator which is consistant with the SAC manual.

The recording tap info in the manual is correct in that the tap is pre att but isn't clear about the tap being after a modified pre-FX routing.

I just discovered and thought I'd share with other users.

I can see this being good for recording the output of a midi FX. Not so good if pre-eq patching a de-essing levelizer.

Why would you want to record anything other than the source audio? You can always modify the source to make it sound the way you want afterwards.
