    Default Sac-Saw Link FX Question

    Hello,

I'm experimenting with Sac-Saw Link and am experiencing some weird results when trying to use VST plugins. Let me preface all this by stating that I am recent SAC user. So my issue is that some plugins do not seem to receive any input signal while other do. If I insert a plugin in in SAW (when not it Sac-Saw Link mode) the plugin responds on the channel as expected.

If I then flip over to Sac-Saw Link mode (1st removing the plugin from the SAW channel FX) and add the plugin to the SAC channel, it receives no signal. Some work, some don't.

Am i missing something? Any help will be appreciated.
FYI plugins in question are Waves GTR amp modeler & C4 multiband compressor.

I'm not sure if this is your issue, but SAC only supports zero latency plugins. You can check a plugin's reported latency by clicking on the blue triangle on it's gui.

Just checked, 64 samaples on the C4, that has to be it.

    Thank you!

If you absolutely need to use a certain plugin that reports latency there is a workaround. You have to load the plugin into a wrapper that hides the latency from SAC.

I think Xlutop Chainer was the recommended one.
