BCF200 Setup Question

I bought a used BCF2000 from a friend who used it only a couple of times for a lighting controller. It behaves a little differently than the one I already own and have been using. For example, when I push the faders up and down, I see the number values being displayed on the new controller, my existing one doesn't do that. Also, I went through the whole proceedure of using midi ox and dumping the information onto the controller, but I can't seem to get it to work with SAC. I've set up three previous (brand new) controllers with no issues. Any suggestions? Maybe I need to boot it up in a different mode?

Never mind, I figured it out. I wasn't storing the midi information to a preset after the transfer.
