It gives them access to all memory, and after running low on memory in SAW, it seemed like the thing to do.

What causes SAW to run low on memory? Not sure if I've seen that.

Not sure, but graphics disappearing in plugins is a symptom.

The update version of Ultra Channel works fine without JB in SS now!!

I've been trying out all of my plugins in the SS demo and have noticed that the only ones I've had any real problems with are the ones that require iLok2 and the latest ILM (iLok License Manager) to be installed. The Eventide Ultra Channel is one of these plugins and causes SS to crash when instantiated on my system.

I've seen complaints here about Slate and Soundtoys plugins too.. There must be something that the new iLok system is doing that's causing the issues.

Yep... sure seems that way to me as well. I'm also having similar problems in my SSL Soundscape mixer with a few of the Sound Toys plug-ins. It comes and goes, sometimes I have to remove certain ones before the mixer will load. Those I don't even try to use in SAWStudio anymore.

I never really had any problems with iLOK unitl the 'new and improved' iLOK 2 came along.

OK, so i LOVE this plugins sound... Pretty sweet stuff in there, BUT i just got Bit again... Went back to a session that i saved with this plugin , and CANT OPEN.. Sawstudio just crashes.... Removed the plugin from the VST directory, and all was fine, the project complained of the missing plugin, but i could open my project... WHEW, So add this one to your list people...

Those links are dead. Any other ideas about where to get the update?

The FREE deal is over, try the Website directly... Just download the latest trial version.... but as i said... If you save it in a project, you cant open the project...
