Midas DL 251

Does anybody know of a reasonably cost effective way to use the DL251 with SAC?

AFAIK The Lynx cards are the only way to do it right now. They're not inexpensive, and neither is the DL251.
I have this setup myself.

how do you control the preamps?

They have a stand-alone program called Midas Snake Control. It's available on their public FTP server (you won't find it on the website). The PC and DL251 need to be on the same ethernet. The software works pretty well.
