looks like interesting stuff, but the base unit is $6500 and an 8 input IO card is another $1500.
Not cheap.

Had not seen any prices. BTW input connector is DB25 not DB50. 8x(HiLoSh) is 24 pins. Here is another link to the Horus Brochure

Too expensive!
Merging makes Pyramix, which is a DXD and DSD DAW. It is not intended for live sound. There were two DAWs on the planet you have to use if you want to record and edit DXD and DSD. I don't think the other is still around.
I don't really know their products all that well since they are so pricey and I've never really seen anyone using them... but they do make stuff for live performances as well...

Not mixing live sound really (although it looks like they are trying to do that now as well), but media playback of various sorts and they partner with MxWendler which is a pretty sophisticated video tool. I have looked at that a long time ago and it was terribly hard to wrap one's head around. Not sure if it was the language barrier or just too complex... or some of each...
Maybe you should visit the web site before you write? (yes that was sarcasm and payback for your slam on the other list, in case you didn't recognize it)

OK, I agree way to pricey.
But here is brand new Mackie DL32R.
http://dl32r.mackie.com/docs/DL32R_SS.pdf. Yes, you must buy at least one iPad and a good router. Mackie Master Fader v3.0 will be at app store shortly for free download. Already know it has many more effects and has remote trims on all 32 onxy preamps.
