  1. Lightbulb Steven Slate - VIRTUAL MIX RACK

Anyone tried this plugin with SAC?

Looks like this is a no latency plugin with a lot of cool things from Steven Slate:

It couldn't be loaded on Sawstudio direct but I haven't tried it via wrapper such as jbridge....If Saw works, Sac might work.

Okay, just did a quick test.

VMR works with Saw via bluecat patchwork...
The good news is " VMR can be loaded on Sac too" but I am not sure if it's stable enough..

    Himhui ,

Would you happen to have Slates Vbc ? I'd like to know if it also works with Blue cats patch and Saw.

I demoed it long time ago, I remembered that it worked on Saw without wrapper. Anyway you may download the demo of bc patchwork and vbc to see if it works, bc patchwork allows you to load one instance of vstplugin.

Outstanding plugin. Great eq, great comps.
Is there any chance of it loading without a wrapper? I.e. can we get a fix?
*edit* for Saw specifically? Didn't realize this was the Sac forum!

Has anyone tried the VMR after the 4.0 update of SAC?
In the release notes it says:

    * Modified code to extend VST Plugin compatibility to the 2.4 version changes which should help with newer plugin compatibility issues. Not all new options are yet supported but this should allow many newer plugins to be used that otherwise would not load.

If it works in SAW but not SAC then it's probably how the plug is reporting latency that is at issue.

Okay, after some research i found out that the VMR has a latency of 1 ms.
So no zero latency and it will not run on SAC. Too bad, it would have been nice...

But still the question remains, what has changed since the 4.0 update regarding the VST plugins? What plugins will now run who didn't run. Any examples?

as pointed out before you can get a vst wrapper to run it in. Some wrappers don't report a delay or it can be adjusted. Not seamless but functional.
